La medicina convencional li va donar poques esperances de recuperaci\u00f3 i despr\u00e9s de diversos anys de tractament fallit va decidir provar la quiropr\u00e0ctica i els resultats van ser incre\u00efbles. Poc despr\u00e9s vaig comen\u00e7ar els meus estudis de Quiropr\u00e0ctica en Techikon Witwatersand (TWR) a Johannesburg i despr\u00e9s vaig completar els meus estudis a Melbourne, Austr\u00e0lia. Vaig augmentar la meva experi\u00e8ncia en diverses consultes a Austr\u00e0lia abans de decidir mudar-me a Barcelona el 2010 per obrir el centre quiropr\u00e0ctic Innat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breument Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s la quiropr\u00e0ctica? En quins principis es fonamenta?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Segons la definici\u00f3 oficial de l&#8217;AEQ (Associaci\u00f3 Espanyola de la Quiropr\u00e0ctica), la quiropr\u00e0ctica \u00e9s la professi\u00f3 sanit\u00e0ria de primer contacte que s&#8217;encarrega del diagn\u00f2stic, tractament i prevenci\u00f3 de les alteracions mec\u00e0niques de la columna vertebral en part\u00edcules i del sistema neuro-m\u00fascul- esquel\u00e8tic en general.<\/p>\n<p>La quiropr\u00e0ctica es basa en el coneixement de la tensi\u00f3, falta d&#8217;alineaci\u00f3 o alteraci\u00f3 de la columna vertebral (subluxacions) pot interferir en el flux d&#8217;informaci\u00f3 i energia que circula a trav\u00e9s dels nervis, i poden afectar dram\u00e0ticament al funcionament del teu cos de moltes maneres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Per quins motius recomanaria a alg\u00fa sotmetre\u2019s als ajustos d&#8217;un quiropr\u00e0ctic?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Els ajustos es concentren en millorar el funcionament de la teva columna vertebral, de manera que aquests ajuden a alliberar el flux d&#8217;informaci\u00f3 que circula a trav\u00e9s del sistema nervi\u00f3s. \u00c9s a dir, moltes persones senten un alleugeriment natural de mol\u00e8sties, dolors i s\u00edmptomes d&#8217;una enorme varietat de malalties, i augmenten la seva flexibilitat i salut. No nom\u00e9s aix\u00f2, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 els ajuda a prevenir futurs problemes de salut i \u00e9s per aquesta ra\u00f3 que no nom\u00e9s convidem a les persones que senten s\u00edmptomes sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 a les que vulguin mantenir el seu benestar i millorar la seva qualitat de vida.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basant-se en la seva llarga experi\u00e8ncia professional \u00bfpot afirmar que alguns treballs o activitats laborals s\u00f3n m\u00e9s propensos que altres a generar subluxacions?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La causa de les subluxacions vertebrals \u00e9s l&#8217;estr\u00e8s. L&#8217;estr\u00e8s f\u00edsic, qu\u00edmic i emocional afecta la forma en qu\u00e8 funciona el nostre sistema nervi\u00f3s.<\/p>\n<p>Les lesions m\u00e9s comunes relacionades amb el treball s\u00f3n causades per factors estressants f\u00edsics, com accions repetitives, aixecament d&#8217;objectes pesats, configuraci\u00f3 ergon\u00f2mica deficient en el lloc de treball. El que despr\u00e9s causa mal d&#8217;esquena, mal de cervicals, mals de cap, s\u00edndrome del t\u00fanel carpi\u00e0 i h\u00e8rnies discals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coneix algun cas d&#8217;alguna empresa o organitzaci\u00f3 que hagi incl\u00f2s entre els beneficis als seus empleats els tractaments quiropr\u00e0ctics?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apple el 2014 va obrir un Centre de Benestar on un equip de quiropr\u00e0ctics treballa amb altres professionals en pro de la Salut dels empleats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grant, com encaixaria vost\u00e8 l&#8217;activitat quiropr\u00e0ctica dins el pla de prevenci\u00f3 de riscos laborals d&#8217;una empresa?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Espanya cada any es donen dos milions de consultes en atenci\u00f3 prim\u00e0ria per dolor d&#8217;Esquena i \u00e9s la primera causa de baixa laboral al costat de la grip. Un informe de l&#8217;ag\u00e8ncia Europea per a la seguretat i la salut en el treball conclou que els problemes d&#8217;esquena afectaran un 60-90% de persones durant la seva vida laboral, amb una taxa de recaigudes a m\u00e9s del 20-44%.<\/p>\n<p>S&#8217;han presentat estudis cient\u00edfics que conclouen que el tractament quiropr\u00e0ctic \u00e9s m\u00e9s efectiu que el tractament m\u00e8dic convencional per al dolor lumbar. Es descriu tamb\u00e9 la seva alta efic\u00e0cia davant el dolor cervical no espec\u00edfic (la segona causa de discapacitat m\u00fascul-esquel\u00e8tica en els pa\u00efsos desenvolupats despr\u00e9s del dolor lumbar) i al mal de cap com\u00fa originat a les cervicals.<\/p>\n<p>Estudis de cost \/ efic\u00e0cia realitzats per grans companyies d&#8217;assegurances coincideixen que la cura quiropr\u00e0ctic disminueix el temps de baixa laboral a la meitat, amb el conseg\u00fcent benefici per a les empreses.<\/p>\n<p>Moltes persones nom\u00e9s contemplen la quiropr\u00e0ctica quan tenen mal d&#8217;esquena o cervicals i \u00e9s per aix\u00f2, que est\u00e0 summament infrautilitzada quan en realitat t\u00e9 un abast molt m\u00e9s gran.<\/p>\n<p>La quiropr\u00e0ctica vetlla perqu\u00e8 el nostre cos funcioni al 100% de la seva capacitat.<\/p>\n<p>Es tracta de fer que les persones entenguin que el seu sistema nervi\u00f3s i cervell controlen totes les funcions corporals, que hi ha una comunicaci\u00f3 entre ells i que aquesta informaci\u00f3 passa pel mig de la columna vertebral i va cap a la resta del cos (\u00f2rgans, m\u00fasculs, c\u00e8l\u00b7lules, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>Si aquesta comunicaci\u00f3 \u00e9s correcta i tractes de mantenir-la aix\u00ed cuidant de la teva columna prevens que possibles factors de la vida quotidiana interfereixin en aquesta. D&#8217;aquesta manera, si afegeixes la quiropr\u00e0ctica al teu dia a dia i et cuides previndr\u00e0s possibles riscos en el teu lloc de treball tal com l&#8217;abs\u00e8ncia al treball per Dolor lumbar, Dolor cervical, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Podria donar-nos alguna recomanaci\u00f3 per &#8220;auto-tractar-ens&#8221; amb els principis que inspirin la quiropr\u00e0ctica? Alguna t\u00e8cnica, exercici, estirament o moviment que puguem incorporar en els nostres h\u00e0bits diaris.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;El moviment \u00e9s vida!
